Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant mobile equipment including CAT, Komatsu, and Volvo quarry/construction equipment and diesel engines. Perform rebuilds, removal and installation of mechanical parts, and preventative maintenance on all types of diesel-powered equipment. Weld, cut, and perform minor fabrication on plant or mobile equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Operate heavy equipment in a surface mine setting for a full-time, 40+ hour week. Requires a high school diploma, five years of experience with specified equipment, and a CDL with a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational training or equivalent experience
- HS Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of experience with CAT, Komatsu & Volvo quarry/construction equipment/ diesel engine repairs
- A CDL and a clean driving record
- Ability to work safely at all times
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant mobile equipment including CAT, Komatsu & Volvo quarry/construction equipment/ diesel engines
- Mechanically inclined on a wide variety of hand tools and power tools
- Weld, cut and perform minor fabrication on plant or mobile equipment
