Job Summary
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on material handling and construction equipment at customer locations, covering electric forklift systems, diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical components. Travel throughout your assigned region to troubleshoot issues, communicate with customers, and coordinate with the Parts Department to order and return necessary components. Operate a fully equipped service vehicle to deliver expert service and build trusted relationships with clients who rely on your ability to keep operations running. Requires knowledge of JLG, Genie, and AWP equipment, strong mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of JLG and Genie and other AWP Equipment with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience with electronic and hydraulic repairs
- Experience with diesel and gas engine repair
- Basic computer knowledge
- Self-motivation
- Ability to work under little or no supervision
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills
- Driver's license with a good driving record
- Must provide own tools
- Must be able to push, pull and/or lift up to 75lbs
- Must be comfortable working at heights
