Job Summary
Mix and apply single stage industrial paint to high-reach equipment using HVLP guns, adjusting nozzles for proper flow and coating thickness. Prepare surfaces by removing old paint, decals, grease, and rust with sanders, sandblasters, and solvents, then fill dents and smooth areas. Mask electrical wires and hydraulic lines, inspect final work for flaws like blisters or streaks, and correct causes. Bleed out air compressors to remove moisture, lubricate tools, and clean work areas while disposing of hazardous waste properly. Wear required PPE including fresh air respirators and paint suits. Requires 2+ years of automotive or industrial paint experience, reliable transportation, and ability to complete projects on-time and on-budget.
