Heavy Equipment Operator

Operate heavy construction equipment including excavators, front-end loaders, trucks, and material handling equipment for production and transportation needs. Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of all vehicles, documenting damage or maintenance requirements. Identify hazardous conditions and report safety concerns immediately to supervisors while adhering to MSHA procedures and DOT regulations. Safely transport products and materials between sites, communicating effectively with team members via verbal and non-verbal signals. Maintain equipment in clean, safe, and operational conditions while contributing to a culture of safety. Assist with ready mix plant duties as assigned by the Plant Operator or Production Manager. Valid driver's license, MSHA Miner Certification, and two years of experience in mining or heavy industrial environments required. Extended hours, weekends, and travel between multiple job sites may be necessary.
