Job Summary
Safely operate heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and haul trucks, to execute grading, digging, loading, and transporting materials. Adhere to all safety protocols, conduct routine equipment inspections, and report issues promptly. Collaborate with the maintenance team for repairs and troubleshooting while working with supervisors to optimize workflow and meet production targets. Communicate operational challenges timely and assist in scheduled maintenance activities. Full-time position in Kershaw, South Carolina, with competitive salary and health benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in a mining or similar industry
- Familiarity with safety regulations and commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to operate various heavy equipment efficiently and skillfully
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant certifications for heavy equipment operation
Desired Qualifications
- MSHA experience preferred
