Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment to transfer and load materials efficiently at the Transfer Station, directing incoming trucks to appropriate unloading areas and managing the schedule for dump and trailer switching. Ensure facility safety by opening and closing operations according to scheduled hours, maintaining clean public areas, and enforcing all safety rules for customers. Perform pre-trip inspections, site mechanical problems immediately, and follow all equipment checks and precautions. Participate in training to expand knowledge of company products and services while supporting the team's vision and mission.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the US
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven commitment to work and safety
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Physical ability to perform duties in various weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of prior experience in heavy equipment operation
