Job Summary
Conduct pre-operational inspections and routine equipment checks to ensure safe, reliable performance of heavy and fixed plant equipment supporting daily aggregate production. Monitor material flow, production quality, and operating conditions, making adjustments as needed while communicating effectively with team members to coordinate activities and maintain efficient operations. Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety regulations and promoting a safety-first culture. This temporary 6-month role requires demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a mining environment, strong knowledge of safety procedures with high situational awareness, and mechanical aptitude to identify and resolve equipment issues. Applicants must be 18 years or older and submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a mining environment
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures with high situational awareness
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues
- Reliable and collaborative approach with clear and effective communication skills
- Ability to follow operational procedures, adapt to changing priorities, and familiarity with MSHA regulations
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply

- Successful candidate must submit to drug/alcohol screen
- Successful candidate must submit to background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
