Job Summary
Operate heavy landscaping, construction, and snow removal equipment to maintain property aesthetics and safety. Perform street sweeping, asphalt maintenance, traffic control device installation, and specialized tasks like tree felling and log splitting. Complete preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment, including welding and fabrication. Direct activities of additional maintenance specialists and support special events by setting up stages and managing temporary parking areas. Requires a Class A CDL, two years of heavy equipment experience, and chainsaw certification. Full-time role with weekly pay, health benefits, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- Combination of 2 years' experience operating landscape or heavy construction equipment
- 1 year experience operating snow plow equipment including heavy construction equipment and tree felling
- Ability to perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance on small and large equipment; electrical and battery operated equipment
- Chainsaw safety, maintenance, use and handling certificate or able to obtain
- Class A CDL Driver's License Required
- Must be able to obtain a Chainsaw safety, maintenance, use and handling certificate
