Job Summary
Offload coal vessels and load trains and trucks using front-end loaders and other heavy equipment. Operate industrial mobile equipment, interact with vessel crews, and perform general maintenance on equipment and facilities. Participate in mooring operations, port security, and input/complete work orders and documentation. Work 10-hour shifts four days with flexibility for weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Maintain proficiency in English and adhere to safety protocols in environments containing coal dust, hazardous noise, and confined spaces.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- 18 years of age minimum
- Speak, read and write in English at a proficient level
- Must have the ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position
