Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Operator safely operates light and heavy equipment in a hazardous waste treatment processing facility or landfill. Responsibilities include assisting in off-loading trucks and unloading waste, operating equipment to stabilize and handle waste, processing treatment of materials and containers, sampling post-treated materials for testing by laboratory, loading post-treatment materials for shipment to landfill or disposal, performing general preventative maintenance and housekeeping, and performing other related duties. Must be able to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER Training upon hire and may require a valid driver’s license for some positions. Required Qualifications

- Ability to use hand and power tools applicable
- Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and maintenance, including check tire pressure, check oil and water levels
