Heavy Equipment Operator Recycling

Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment at recycling centers, landfills, or transfer stations to transfer, spread, cover, load and/or compact waste or soil in a safe, efficient manner. Perform pre- and post-operation inspections, monitor equipment condition, perform minor servicing, complete Equipment Condition Reports, and report repairs as needed. Maintain a clean, serviced shop at shift end, follow all safety policies, and provide professional, courteous service to customers and co-workers while meeting performance goals. Preferred qualifications include two years of heavy equipment operation experience and familiarity with OSHA-regulated sites; strong time management, reliability, and adherence to company safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of prior related experience in heavy equipment operation
- One year of prior experience working at sites regulated by OSHA
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to adhere to work schedule and safety standards
