Job Summary
Load and unload scrap metal materials using a grapple, forklift, or skid-steer at the warehouse facility. Assist with maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy equipment to minimize downtime. Observe all safety requirements, lead by example, and provide constructive feedback for coaching. Ensure a clean and orderly workplace by removing debris and hazards. Adhere to and maintain proper service logs and maintenance requirements. Perform other duties as assigned in a non-climate-controlled outdoor environment. Full-time position with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback for coaching
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled / outdoor facility
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Some experience operating Grapple crane, forklift, skid steer and excavator operation / maintenance experience
- Scrap metal/waste experience
