Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment in a metal recycling/ scrap facility: load and unload scrap metal materials using Grapple, forklift, or skid-steers; assist with maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy equipment to minimize downtime; uphold safety standards and coach others; maintain a clean, organized worksite and keep service logs; contribute to continuous improvements and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Some experience operating Grapple crane, forklift, skid steer and excavator operation / maintenance experience (helpful).
- Scrap metal/waste experience is a plus, but not necessary.
