Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment to safely load, unload, and move materials and supplies while conducting routine inspections and basic maintenance. Support the setup and demobilization of logistics operations at deployment sites, assist with general material handling, and follow all safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment. Work collaboratively with logistics and field operations teams to meet response objectives and perform other job-related duties as assigned. This seasonal role requires travel on short notice for disaster response missions lasting several days to weeks, with deployment within 24 to 72 hours. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and certification for operating heavy equipment such as telehandlers or forklifts.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid certification(s) for operating heavy equipment (e.g., telehandlers, forklifts)
- Flexibility to work irregular hours—such as nights, weekends, and holidays
- The ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods
- Must be physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in diverse environmental conditions
- Valid driver's license
- Access to reliable transportation

- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in logistics, construction, or emergency response settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
