Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment including a track hoe (excavator), dozers, mining trucks, motor graders, and other equipment to support load/haul operations, reclamation, pit advancement, trenching, road maintenance, topsoil handling, and erosion repair within a sand and gravel quarry. Ensure safe operation per MSHA standards and company safety policies; perform startup/shutdown procedures and report maintenance concerns; manage instrumentation gauges, maintain safe operating practices, and assist with water management and routine maintenance. Must have a high school diploma or GED and two years of experience operating heavy off-road construction equipment, plus a valid driver’s license and clean MVR. May work primarily days with potential nights/weekends; cross-training on site equipment is required as needed. Knowledge of GPS units and emergency response, ability to identify unsafe conditions, and the ability to work in a safety-focused environment. We are an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
