Job Summary
Excavate for and build bioretention facilities, rain gardens, ponds, sediment basins, and other storm-water management facilities. Muck out and re-grade ponds, then shoot grades for stakeout while reading and interpreting cut sheets. Operate bobcats, mini excavators, and heavy equipment to trench, grade, and complete other grading and excavation needs per client requests. Requires 1-5 years of experience with the specified machinery, ability to lift 50 lbs, and physical fitness for manual labor in all environments. Compensation is up to $30/hr depending on experience, with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, accident, critical illness, hospital confinement, paid time off, and a 401(k) with match.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible for employment in the United States
- 1-5 years' of experience with bobcat and/or mini excavator or larger equipment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation
- Physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Regularly required to sit and stand, must be able to use hands to fingers, handle or feel and verbally communicate and listen
- Walking, climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
- Distance vision

- Depth perception
- The ability to adjust focus
