Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment including front-end loaders, dozers, screeners, and forklifts to manage bulk piles, monitor pile heat, and cut baled materials for the mulch production process. Clean, maintain, and secure all machinery as directed by management while supporting mixing and bagging operations. Work in a dusty, dirty environment across all weather elements, including heat and cold, with the ability to lift 50 pounds and climb in and out of equipment. Requires high school graduation or GED and one year of experience using medium and/or heavy equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
- One or more years of experience using medium and/or heavy equipment
- Ability to work in a dusty, dirty environment
- Ability to work in all weather elements, including heat and cold
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Physical ability to climb in and out of equipment
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment
