Heavy Equipment Operator

Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction and excavation sites, performing daily pre-operation and post-operation inspections while maintaining assigned machinery. Dig and backfill trenches, excavations, and perform cuts and fills to establish specified grades and provide compaction. Report mechanical or operational issues to supervisors promptly and follow site plans, grades, and specific instructions accurately. Work independently and collaboratively with crew members, assisting with manual labor tasks when needed while ensuring safety around equipment and team members. Requires minimum of 2 years' experience operating heavy equipment, with preferred experience using excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, motor graders, and compactors.
