Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders in compliance with safety policies at WM Landfill facilities. Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance while maintaining accurate records. Move and position raw materials and finished components using material moving equipment following standard operating procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Work Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 4pm, with Saturdays as needed, in Fairport, NY. This role is vital to our waste management operations serving over 20 million customers across the USA.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment
- Be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Dozer experience
- Loader experience
- Excavator experience
