Job Summary
Responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment at a recycling center, landfill, or transfer station to transfer, spread, cover, load, and/or compact waste or soil. Includes performing pre- and post-operation inspections, operating equipment such as forklift, excavator, bulldozer, and front-end loader, monitoring waste and equipment condition, performing minor servicing, completing equipment condition reports, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of prior related experience in heavy equipment operation.
- One year of prior experience working at sites regulated by OSHA.
