Job Summary
Operate light and heavy equipment to off-load trucks, unload waste, stabilize materials, and process treatment in a hazardous waste facility. Conduct post-treatment sampling for laboratory testing, load cleared materials for shipment, and perform general preventative maintenance and housekeeping. Execute daily duties including prioritizing multiple responsibilities, maintaining focus, and utilizing hand and power tools. Requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of 40-hour HAZWOPER training upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER Training upon hire
- A valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of light and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to use hand and power tools applicable
- Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and maintenance, including (but not limited to): check tire pressure, check oil and water levels
- Demonstrates, accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail
- Must be able to prioritize, stay focused and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities
