Gunnison County Public Works is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator I to perform operations on light, medium, and heavy equipment for County road maintenance and construction. Candidates must possess a valid Colorado driver's license and have two years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Completion of ICS 100 and ICS 700 within the first year of employment
- Current flagging certification
- Willingness to complete MSHA Part 46 certification
- Willingness to complete First Aid and CPR classes
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of experience related to construction, maintenance, or repair
