Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment (including excavator, front loader, bulldozer, and related gear) to bale and load waste or material into trailers. Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks, grease and lubricate equipment, and ensure fluids are proper. Communicate with coworkers via two-way radio, substitute for other operators as needed, and clean debris from tracks. Adhere to safety policies, stay aware of outdoor, high-noise environment, and comply with relevant laws. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (desired), forklift certification, and potential Transfer Station/Landfill Operations Certification; English reading/writing/speaking ability required. The role is based in Rantoul, Illinois with on-site work expectations and standard benefits.
