Job Summary
Operate a variety of contractor equipment including bulldozers, backhoes, road graders, and front-end loaders to move and grade dirt, dig ditches, trenches, and hoist materials. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned machinery, reporting any defects or repairs to the supervisor. Execute all duties in strict conformance with safety and security standards. This full-time role requires a high school diploma, four years of heavy equipment experience, and a valid driver's license, with a CDL preferred. Expect Monday through Friday hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p. m., potential overtime, local or overnight travel, and weekend work. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four years' experience involving the use of medium and heavy equipment
- Driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend work
- Must be able to work overnight stays
- Must be able to work overtime
- Must be able to work local or out of town
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday
- Must be able to work 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Must be able to work with a bulldozer, backhoe, road grader or front-end loader
- Must be able to move and grade dirt
- Must be able to dig ditches and trenches
- Must be able to hoist material, tools, equipment
- Must be able to perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
