Job Summary
Operate a variety of contractor equipment including bulldozers, backhoes, road graders, and front-end loaders to move, grade dirt, dig ditches, trenches, and hoist materials. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned machinery, reporting any defects or repairs to the supervisor while adhering to all safety and security standards. This full-time role requires a high school diploma, four years of heavy equipment experience, and a driver's license, with a valid CDL preferred. Overtime is expected during Monday through Friday shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p. m., and overnight stays may be required for local or out-of-town travel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four years' experience involving the use of medium and heavy equipment
- Driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend work
- Must be able to work overnight stays
- Must be able to work overtime
- Must be able to work local or out of town
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday
- Must be able to work 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Must be able to work with a bulldozer, backhoe, road grader or front-end loader
- Must be able to move and grade dirt
