Job Summary
Operate a range of heavy equipment in environmental services settings (e.g., soils screening/moving/processing) safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include operating haul and water trucks, front-end loaders, telehandlers, skid steers, and excavators; performing maintenance and inspections; supporting trucks with guidance as a spotter; completing daily safety and maintenance checks; maintaining a clean, organized work area; cross-training to cover operations staff; and participating in pre/post-shift safety and operational meetings. Requires 5+ years of soils operations experience, proficiency with wheel loaders, dozers, excavators, and skid steers, and a high school diploma or GED. Desired mechanical ability, strong work ethic, professional interaction with coworkers/visitors, ability to follow directions, and ability to use training portals. Outdoor, varied-climate work with lifting up to 50 pounds intermittently; ability to sit/stand for long periods. Includes competitive benefits; EEO committed; disability accommodations available.
Required Qualifications
