Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment including loaders, graders, excavators, skidsteers, heavy duty trucks, and cranes at a steel and metal recovery plant. Perform routine mobile equipment pre-start and post-inspections while recording activity on inspection sheets. Adhere strictly to all plant safety guidelines for safe operations. Work in an outdoor environment involving manual labor, elevated areas, and extreme weather conditions. Requires high school diploma, 1-3 years of equipment operator experience, and ability to read operating instructions. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 - 3 year's experience as a equipment operator
- Ability to do manual labor in an outdoor environment that may include elevated areas and extreme weather conditions
- Good communications skills
