Job Summary
Operate heavy construction equipment (backhoe, skid steer, excavators, loaders) and learn drilling/blasting in a quarry setting for MD&B. Role includes daily maintenance of equipment, safety compliance, learning drill patterns, completing drill reports and hole sheets, coordinating supplies, and attending meetings. Travel/out-of-town travel and overtime may be required. Hourly rate $20-$22 with travel stipend; benefits include ESOP and traditional 401(k). Pre-employment physical, drug screen, and ATF background check required. Opportunity for advancement and internal promotion.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with own transportation
- Experience as construction laborer
- Equipment operating experience helpful
- Must hold a high level of common sense relative to equipment and machinery operation
- Mechanical aptitude around equipment/motors/hydraulic/electrical systems
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must successfully complete a background screening for ATF
