Job Summary

Perform daily maintenance and execute drill patterns and layouts as established by the Blaster Foreman. Adhere to company safety policies while communicating terrain conditions and problems to the Blaster/Foreman. Manage inventory of accessories, coordinate supplies, and complete timely paperwork including drill reports, hole sheets, and signed timecards. Participate in Foreman's, Safety, and Daily Heads-Up meetings. Complete Driller I training within the designated period and work unsupervised with a sense of urgency. Out of town travel and overtime may be required.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License with own transportation
  • Must hold a high level of common sense relative to equipment and machinery operation
  • Must successfully pass ATF screenings
  • Ability to lift 50 – 100 lbs., 30 – 40% of the time
  • Work on uneven and loose surfaces in varying weather conditions
  • Stooping and bending 30-40% of the time
  • Physical agility
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the position
  • Ability to learn drill patterns and terminology then execute drill pattern and layout as established by the Blaster Foreman
  • Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining a sense of urgency
  • Must be safety-minded and able to work well in varying weather environments

Desired Qualifications

  • Equipment operating experience is helpful (earth moving construction equipment, farm equipment, timber harvesting equipment, etc.)
  • Experience as construction laborer
  • Mechanical aptitude based on past experience around equipment, motors, hydraulic, electrical systems
