Job Summary
Driller Trainee in construction responsible for operating heavy equipment as part of learning drilling and blasting under supervision. Role includes daily equipment maintenance, following safety policies, learning drill patterns and layouts, inventory and cost awareness for accessories, submitting drill reports and timecards, coordinating supplies, and participating in safety and project meetings. Starting pay is $20.00–$22.00 per hour with a weekly travel allowance, located in Hazleton, PA. Must have a valid driver’s license, construction-labor experience, and pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and ATF background check. Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with own transportation
- Experience as construction laborer
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must successfully complete a background screening for ATF
- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs., 30–40% of the time
- Ability to work on uneven and loose surfaces in varying weather conditions
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position
- Must be able to carry tools and supplies
- Willingness to travel out of town as required
- Interest in learning drill patterns and terminology
- Ability to learn drill patterns and adhere to safety policies
