Heavy Equipment Operator - Dozer

Job Summary
Operate bulldozers, motor-graders, and excavators to excavate, move, and grade earth for road beds, parking lots, and airport runways. Guide machines using blades, buckets, and scrapers to level terrain, spread asphalt, and compact earth fills according to grade specifications. Conduct documented pre-shift inspections, perform minor repairs, and maintain equipment while complying with safety regulations. Work long, flexible hours including nights, weekends, and extended periods across all seasons. Coordinate machine actions with crew members following hand or audio signals, and report mechanical concerns to supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old
- Candidate must have experience operating a bulldozer to fine grade
- Must have good work ethic and be dependable
- Must be able to work various hours as needed
- Must be willing to work out of town if needed
- Able to operate Dozer with or without GPS
- Must be able to lift 80 pounds or more
- Must be able to work around noise, dust, heat, cold, oil and heavy equipment
- Must be able to exchange ideas quickly and clearly
- Must be able to receive and evaluate detailed information and instructions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience on multiple types of heavy equipment a plus
