Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Operator (Contract) for a nationwide above-ground pool company. Operate and complete high-volume pool installations with precision grading and dirt work, typically 20–30 pools per month within up to a 200-mile radius. Must have 5+ years of relevant experience, own a full-size work vehicle, and equipment (Bobcat/skid steer/front loader, laser level). Requires a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and $1,000,000 general liability insurance. Training is provided (3-day on-the-job) to ensure adherence to Blue World Pools’ build process and precision grading standards. Compensation ranges from $1,400–$1,600 per daily pool install, with potential for up to $30,000 per month; bonuses include $500 sign-on and $1,000 weekly bonus for performance, plus daily pay. Safety and reliability are emphasized, with a focus on quality installations and timely payments.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- at least one reliable, full-time helper
- access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level (equipment may be owned, rented, or leased)
- valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or ability to obtain one)
- availability to start immediately and willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
