Job Summary
Contract Heavy Equipment Operator for Blue World Pools, Inc. performing above-ground pool installations across the state. The role focuses on high-volume pool installations with emphasis on precision grading and dirt work, requiring ownership of tools and equipment, and collaboration with at least one full-time helper. Responsibilities include completing quality installations for above-ground pools (e.g., 24’ round pools), maintaining schedules, and ensuring safety and efficiency. Training will be provided (3 days) to align with Blue World Pools’ build process. Pay structure includes bonuses (e.g., $500 sign-on, extra $500 per 5 pools up to 25 pools, $1,000 per week after 5 installs in a week) and daily pay. Requires a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and $1,000,000 general liability insurance, plus willingness to travel up to 200 miles to complete 20–30 pools per month; must be able to tow with a full-size vehicle and operate heavy equipment such as a skid steer/Bobcat/front loader and use a transit or laser level. Company offers nationwide pool installations with substantial dispatch of installs. Eligible installers may earn $30,000 per month in some cases, with average earnings per daily pool install ranging from $1,400 to $1,600.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- At least one reliable, full-time helper
- Access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level (owned, rented, or leased)
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or ability to obtain one)
- Willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
