Job Summary
Contract Heavy Equipment Operator for above-ground pool installations across the state. Responsibilities include completing high-volume, quality pool installs (about 20–30 pools per month) within a up-to-200-mile radius, using equipment such as a full-size tow-capable vehicle, skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level. Requires 5+ years of experience installing above-ground pools or significant precision grading/dirt work, plus a reliable full-time helper. Bring your own tools and equipment; training is provided (3-day on-the-job). Compensation is regionally based with daily pay and potential bonuses; travel and scheduling are managed by the contractor. Location: Orrville, Ohio, USA.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- Crew: You must have at least one reliable, full-time helper
- Equipment: Access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level
- License & Insurance: A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or the ability to obtain one)
- Availability & Radius: Ability to start immediately and willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- Training & Onboarding: 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
- Pay & Bonuses: Daily Pay; bonuses including sign-on and per-5-pools incentives
