Job Summary
Contract Heavy Equipment Operator for above-ground pool installations across the state. Responsibilities include completing high-volume pool installations (average 20–30 pools per month) with an emphasis on quality work and precision grading. Must have 5+ years of experience installing above-ground pools or significant experience in residential dirt work, and bring a full set of required tools and equipment (full-size tow-capable vehicle, skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, transit or laser level). Training consists of a 3-day on-the-job program with an active installer. Compensation opportunities include daily pay and performance bonuses (sign-on and per-pool bonuses). Must possess a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and $1,000,000 general liability insurance. Willingness to travel up to 200 miles for installations. Position is contractor-based with paid installations and potential earnings up to 30,000 per month for top performers.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- Crew: You must have at least one reliable, full-time helper
- Equipment: Access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level
- License & Insurance: A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or the ability to obtain one)
- Availability & Radius: Ability to start immediately and willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- Training & Onboarding: 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
