Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Operator for contract above-ground pool installations. Responsible for completing quality installs across the state with a focus on precision grading and dirt work. Operate equipment (full-size vehicle for towing, skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and laser level). Must have at least one reliable, full-time helper and be willing to travel up to 200 miles to install 20–30 pools per month. Training provided: a 3-day on-the-job program with a current installer. Pay structure includes daily earnings per pool install ($1,400–$1,600 depending on pool type and efficiency), potential monthly earnings up to $30,000, plus bonuses ($500 sign-on, $500 per 5 pools up to 25 pools, $1,000 more per week for completing 5 installs in a week). Daily pay available. Company is Blue World Pools, Inc., a nationwide provider of above-ground pool installations since 1982; operates with high-volume scheduling and strong advertising behind quarterly installs.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- At least one reliable, full-time helper
- Access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level (ownership or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to start immediately and willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- Completion of a 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
