Job Summary
Contract Heavy Equipment Operator for high-volume above-ground pool installations. Role requires 5+ years of experience in installing above-ground pools or precision grading/dirt work, with a requirement to have a reliable full-time helper and own the necessary heavy equipment (full-size towing vehicle, skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level). Training is provided through a 3-day onboarding with a current installer. Typical earnings range from $28,000–$48,000 per month depending on pools completed (20–30 pools monthly), with bonuses (sign-on $500; $500 per 5 pools up to 25 pools; additional $1,000 per week for 5 installs in a week). Daily pay is available. The position is contract-based with up to a 200-mile installation radius, and the company offers a steady stream of installs across the state. Location hint: Moro, IL, USA.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- at least one reliable, full-time helper
- access to full-size work vehicle capable of towing, residential skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level
- valid driver's license, auto insurance, and $1,000,000 general liability insurance (or ability to obtain)
- willingness to cover up to 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
