Job Summary
Contract Heavy Equipment Operator for above-ground pool installations. 5+ years of proven experience in installing above-ground pools or precision grading/dirt work. Must have at least one reliable, full-time helper and own required equipment (full-size tow-capable vehicle, skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, transit or laser level). Requires a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and $1,000,000 general liability insurance (or ability to obtain). Ready to travel within a 200-mile radius to complete 20–30 pools per month. 3-day on-the-job training provided with current installer. Earnings potential includes daily pay and bonuses, with typical installations around 6-8 hours and average earnings reported between $1,400 and $1,600 per pool; some installers reported up to $30,000 per month. Bonuses: $500 sign-on plus $500 for every 5 pools (up to 25 pools) and an extra $1,000 per week when completing 5 installs in a week.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- At least one reliable, full-time helper
- Access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or ability to obtain one)
- Willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- Completion of a 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
