Job Summary
Contract-heavy equipment operator for above-ground pool installations across the state. Role involves performing high-volume, quality pool installs with a crew, using tools such as a skid steer/front loader and laser level, within a 200-mile radius. Requires 5+ years of relevant experience, own or access to a full-size work vehicle and crew, and completion of a 3-day on-the-job training. Compensation includes per-pool earnings with potential bonuses and daily pay; some installers may earn substantial monthly income. Company provides a steady flow of installs to keep schedules full and reduce bid/tollow cycles.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- Crew: at least one reliable, full-time helper
- Equipment: access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level (ownership/availability required)
- License & Insurance: valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and $1,000,000 general liability insurance (or ability to obtain)
- Availability & Radius: ability to start immediately and willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- Training & Onboarding: 3-day on-the-job training with current installer
- Pay & Bonuses: earnings structure per pool including daily pay, sign-on bonus, and per-5-pool bonuses
