Job Summary
Contract Heavy Equipment Operator for above-ground pool installations across the state. Responsibilities include completing high-volume pool installations with precision grading and dirt work, operating equipment (full-size vehicle, Bobcat/skid steer/front loader, transit or laser level), coordinating with a helper, and meeting an installation target of 20–30 pools per month within a 200-mile radius. Requires 5+ years of relevant experience, own equipment, valid driver’s license and insurance, and willingness to undergo a 3-day on-the-job training; includes bonuses and daily pay. Location specified as McLain, MS. Training and primary duties are aligned with a contractor, high-volume installation role with immediate start.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- Crew: You must have at least one reliable, full-time helper
- Equipment: Access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level
- License & Insurance: A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or the ability to obtain one)
- Availability & Radius: Ability to start immediately and willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- Training & Onboarding: 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
- Pay & Bonuses: Sign-On Bonus $500; $1,000 per week after 5 installs in a week; up to $30,000 per month for top installers
