Job Summary
Contract Heavy Equipment Operator for above-ground pool installations across a high-volume workflow. Role requires 5+ years of proven experience in installing above-ground pools or significant precision grading/dirt work, and the ability to operate with a crew (at least one full-time helper). You must provide the necessary equipment (full-size tow-capable vehicle, skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level) and maintain valid driver’s license and $1,000,000 GL insurance. The job includes a 3-day onboarding training, a 200-mile installation radius, and high-volume pay with daily pay and bonuses (sign-on and per-pool bonuses). Company provides steady stream of installations and seeks to keep schedules full with 20-30 pools per month. Aiming for consistent, quality installations and prompt payment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- at least one reliable, full-time helper
- access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level (equipment may be owned, rented, or leased)
- valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or ability to obtain one)
- ability to start immediately and willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20-30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training with a current installer
- daily pay after completed installations
- bonuses: $500 Sign-On Bonus; $500 for every 5 pools (up to 25); $1,000 per week when 5 installs in a week
