Job Summary
Contract Heavy Equipment Operator for above-ground pool installations. The role involves operating heavy equipment and completing high-volume pool installations across up to a 200-mile radius, with 20–30 pools per month. Requires 5+ years of experience (above-ground pool installations or precision grading/dirt work), access to a full set of tools/equipment (truck capable of towing, skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, transit or laser level), a valid driver’s license and $1,000,000 insurance, and the ability to work with a reliable helper. Training is provided (3 days) with an established installer. Company provides steady, consistent work flow and pays per install with bonuses and daily pay opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- At least one reliable, full-time helper
- Access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or the ability to obtain one)
- Ability to start immediately and willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
