Job Summary
Contract heavy equipment operator needed for high-volume above-ground pool installations across the state. Responsibilities include completing quality pool installations, performing precision grading and residential dirt work, and coordinating with a team to maintain a steady flow of projects. Must have at least 5+ years of relevant experience, own/arrange equipment (full-size towable vehicle, skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and laser level), carry a valid driver’s license and $1,000,000 general liability insurance, and be able to start immediately with up to 200 miles of travel to install 20–30 pools per month. Training consists of a 3-day on-the-job program with a current installer. Compensation is described in daily earnings with bonuses (sign-on, per-pool bonuses, and weekly boosts) tied to installation numbers, with daily pay provided upon completion of each installation. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- at least one reliable, full-time helper
- access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level
- valid driver's license, auto insurance, and $1,000,000 general liability insurance (or ability to obtain one)
- availability to start immediately and willingness to cover up to 200-mile radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training program
