Job Summary
Contract Heavy Equipment Operator needed for nationwide above-ground pool installations. You will perform grading/dirt work and install above-ground pools, bringing your own crew and equipment. Must have 5+ years of proven experience, operate equipment (full-size towing vehicle, skid steer/Bobcat/front loader), and use a transit or laser level. Expect a high-volume workflow with ~20–30 pool installs per month within a 200-mile radius. Training is provided (3 days). Average earnings range from $1,400 to $1,600 per daily pool install, with bonuses including a $500 sign-on and $1,000 weekly bonus after milestones; daily pay available. Location: Owensville, OH, US. Company has been operating since 1982 and emphasizes a steady stream of installs and nationwide advertising.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- At least one reliable, full-time helper
- Access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, and a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level (tools/equipment provided by you)
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or ability to obtain one)
- Willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- Ability to start immediately
- 3-day on-the-job training with a current installer
