Job Summary
Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator needed for contract-based above-ground pool installations across the state. Responsible for performing installations with precision grading and dirt work, managing a crew (at least one reliable full-time helper), and maintaining high-quality workmanship within a up-to-200-mile radius. Must own or have access to required tools and equipment (full-size towing vehicle, skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and transit or laser level), hold a valid license and liability insurance, and be prepared for a scalable workflow with aggressive installation targets (20–30 pools per month). Training is provided on-site, and daily pay is offered. The role emphasizes consistent, high-volume installations and adherence to specific build processes for pool installations at scale.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- one reliable, full-time helper
- access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level (equipment may be owned, rented, or leased)
- valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or ability to obtain one)
- availability to start immediately and willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
- contractor position (not wage-labor)
- daily pay after each installation
