Job Summary
Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator needed for contract-based, high-volume above-ground pool installations. Responsible for executing quality pool installations and precision grading/dirt work across an extended radius. Must bring tools and equipment (full-size tow-capable vehicle, skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, transit or laser level) and complete a 3-day training with a current installer. Requires 5+ years of relevant experience, at least one reliable full-time helper, and a valid driver’s license with auto insurance and a $1,000,000 general liability policy (or the ability to obtain one). Anticipate up to 20–30 pools per month within a 200-mile radius, daily pay structure, and bonus incentives including a $500 sign-on bonus and additional per-pool bonuses. The role is contractor-based and supported by Blue World Pools, a nationwide above-ground pool company established in 1982, with ongoing opportunities for immediate start and high-volume work.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- at least one reliable, full-time helper
- access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level
- valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or ability to obtain one)
- willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
