Job Summary
Contract heavy equipment operator for high-volume above-ground pool installations across MS. Responsibilities include performing precision grading and pool installations, operating heavy equipment (e.g., skid steer/Bobcat/front loader), ensuring safety and quality, coordinating with a crew including at least one reliable helper, and traveling within a 200-mile radius to complete 20–30 pools per month. Training is provided (3 days) and incentives include bonuses and daily pay. Must have a valid driver's license and liability insurance; must supply equipment. Company provides steady flow of installs to minimize job-hunting time.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools or significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- at least one reliable, full-time helper
- access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing and to a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader and a transit or laser level (equipment may be owned, rented, or leased)
- valid driver's license, auto insurance, and $1,000,000 general liability insurance (or ability to obtain one)
- ability to start immediately and willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
