Job Summary
Contract heavy equipment operator for above-ground pool installations across the state. Responsible for completing 20-30 pool installs per month within a 200-mile radius. Operate heavy equipment including a full-size vehicle for towing, a skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and use a transit or laser level to ensure precise installations. Participate in a 3-day on-the-job training and maintain quality installations to maximize efficiency. Must provide own tools/equipment and have a valid license/insurance. Compensation includes base earnings per daily pool install, sign-on bonus, performance bonuses, and daily pay. Company provides a steady stream of installs to keep schedules full.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- At least one reliable, full-time helper
- Access to a full-size vehicle capable of towing, a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level (tools may be owned, rented, or leased)
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy (or ability to obtain one)
- Ability to start immediately and willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20-30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
