Job Summary
Contract heavy equipment operator for high-volume above-ground pool installations across the state. Operate heavy machinery including skid steer/Bobcat/front loader and use a transit or laser level to achieve precise grading and dirt work. Responsible for completing 20-30 installs per month within a ~200-mile radius, providing your own tools and a reliable full-time helper, and participating in a 3-day on-the-job training with a current installer. Contractors are paid per pool install with bonuses (sign-on bonus and additional per-pool bonuses) and daily pay; the company provides no equipment. The role is with Blue World Pools, a nationwide above-ground pool company, and requires a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a $1,000,000 general liability policy (or ability to obtain one). This position emphasizes steady, high-volume work, scheduling efficiency, and quality installations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- Must have at least one reliable, full-time helper
- Access to full-size work vehicle capable of towing, residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level (tools/equipment must be provided by you)
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance
- $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy or ability to obtain one
- Willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius
- Ability to start immediately
- 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
- Pay and bonuses structure including daily pay and bonuses
- No provided equipment by company; you must supply gear
