Job Summary
Heavy Equipment Operator (Contract) sought for Blue World Pools, Inc. to perform high-volume above-ground pool installations across the state. Responsibilities include completing quality pool installations, leveraging grading and dirt-work expertise, and maintaining a steady flow of projects. The role requires ownership of a full-size towing-capable vehicle, a residential skid steer/Bobcat/front loader, and a transit or laser level. You’ll work with a crew (at least one reliable full-time helper) and must be available to travel up to 200 miles to install 20–30 pools per month. Training consists of a 3-day on-the-job program with a current installer. Typical earnings range from $1,400–$1,600 per daily pool install, with potential bonuses and daily pay; some installers report up to $30,000 per month. Sign-On bonus of $500 and additional bonuses per week based on installs are offered. Company emphasizes nationwide pool installations and high-volume workflow.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience installing above-ground pools OR significant experience in precision grading and residential dirt work
- At least one reliable, full-time helper
- Access to a full-size work vehicle capable of towing
- Access to a residential-sized skid steer/Bobcat/front loader
- Access to a transit or laser level
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy or ability to obtain one
- Willingness to cover up to a 200-mile installation radius to complete 20–30 pools per month
- 3-day on-the-job training program with a current installer
